Folios 190-191. Affidavit of John Codrington of Wraxall in the county of Somerset. Concerns the right of presentation to the rectory of Wraxall, then void by the death of the reverend Samuel Coopey. Mentions an agreement with John Gore of Bourton to present the reverend William Turner for the sum of £ 400; but the said agreement was contrary to the law and the right of presentation into the rectory was forfeited to the Crown. Sworn before Jn [John] Skynner, a master extraordinary.
