Folios 97-98. Memorial to the King from Hamblet Robinson, Water Bailiff to His Majesty in the River Thames from Staines to the head of the river, about his difficulties in preserving the navigation of the river and securing 'the fry and brood of fish therein being taken in the spawning season', due to the extent of illegal behaviour; and requesting the appointment of Daniel Vincent and William Deere in his place, since the role is too burdensome for a single official. With attached certificate from fishermen in the cities of London and Westminster about the threat to fish supplies from 'unlawful nets and [fishing in] unlawful seasons'.
