Folios 118-119. Petition of Peter Coffy for mercy having been capitally convicted at the Old Bailey of forging a promissory note payable to one [John] Gardner. With recommendation, 18 signatures. [Old Bailey Online gives the date of conviction as 3 December 1729. The Recorder's report was made 18 December 1729. The Ordinary's report would suggest that Coffy was executed 22 December 1729].
