Petition of Henry Clarke, innholder of Islington, Middlesex, for mercy on behalf of Margaret Wallis alias Steyning capitally convicted of breaking into his house and taking some of his goods which were subsequently restored to him. [Old Bailey Online gives the date of conviction as 28 February 1728, the date of the Recorder's report as 21 March and date of execution as 27 March].
