Petition of William Dobbins to the King [George III] praying to be pardoned being under sentence of transportation in Worcester jail for stealing 2s 6d from his masters Thomas and James Bowyer. With recommendation signed by Thos [Thomas] Wakeman, Mayor, and 16 others of the principal gentlemen, clergy and freeholders of Worcester. [Thomas Wakeman served as Mayor in 1761].
