Description

Folio 86. Petition of James Borthwick praying that his sentence be changed to one of transportation having been capitally convicted at the Old Bailey for robbing his masters Thomas and Richard Jeffreys [Jeffries] of money and notes. [Old Bailey Online gives the date of conviction as 6 September 1732 and the date of reprieve as 5 October 1732].
