Folio 76. Petition of David Gregory on behalf of his brother James Gregory capitally convicted [at the Old Bailey] with Richard Savage for the murder of James Sinclair. [Old Bailey Online gives the date of conviction as 6 December 1727 and The Ipswich Journal contains a report dated 21 December 1727 that Gregory and Savage will be included in the general free pardon ordered for the convicts in Newgate].
