Folios 68-70. (1) Petition of Mary Graham to 'the Queen's most Excellent Majesty' [Queen Caroline] praying that her brothers John and James Graham under sentence of death at Durham be reprieved 'for some small time that their evidences may be heard'. (2) Petition of the beforementioned John and James Graham to the Duke of Newcastle praying that he not discontinue his efforts on their behalf and offering to 'perform what was never done in England before which is the making of an engine to move without anything in the world but by movement of weight'.
