Captured ship: Witte Zeepaard [White Seahorse] of Flushing (Vlissingen) (master Pieter Jasperssen Heerensen).
History: a Dutch merchant ship, bound from Surinam to Vlissingen, laden with sugar and indigo; more mail from Fefiñanes, Galicia, Spain, was put onboard about mid-November 1672; taken on Dogger Bank on an unknown date sometime during January 1673 (before 4 February 1673) by HMS Warspite (John Wetwang commanding), brought into Gothenburg and there sold.
