Description

Folio 96. Danl [Danie] Fenton, Tottenham Court Road, to King George on behalf of James Darby sentenced at the Old Bailey for convicted of stealing lead belonging to Chelsea Hospital and sentenced to transportation. [Old Bailey Online gives the date of conviction as 11 July 1759 and Fenton's letter says Darby has been in Newgate for two months].
