Folio 87. Petition of Michael Vernon, an Able Bodied seaman from HMS Lichfield, Captain [Matthew] Barton commanding, praying to be pardoned from transportation on condition of re-entering the Royal Navy. [Old Bailey Online has a Michael Varnham convicted 15 May 1755 so if this is the same person two years on gives a date of about 1757].
