Folio 71. Petition of William Mansell who, having had his capital sentence for horse stealing commuted to 14 years transportation, prays for a bailable warrant to be granted to him in order that he may be inserted in the next general pardon. 15 signatures of traders and others as to the veracity of the contents of the petition. The signatories give their addresses, mainly in Tothill Street, and occupations. [Mansell was originally convicted in December 1730].
