Folio 70. Petition of John Moore and Thomas Moore of Harlington, Middlesex, capitally convicted of stealing a sheep belonging to Jane Savage, praying their sentence be commuted to one of transportation. The petition is signed not only by the twelve jurors but also the prosecutrix, Jane Savage, and twelve others including John Williams, Rector of Harlington and George Booth, chaplain to the Earl of Warrington. [Old Bailey Online gives the trial date as 7 April 1756 and the Ordinary's account that sentence had been respited on 23 May].
