Description

Envelope typed 'Viaduct', second of two mounted on reverse of item 17, containing eight photographic images of Snowdon Mountain Railway viaduct and [Ceunant Mawr] waterfall, Llanberis:

1) Monochrome postcard by Photochrom Company, No 7039, with printed title on face, viaduct and railway line looking up mountain [image c.1898], 9cm x 14cm.

2) Colour tinted postcard by Pictorial Stationery Company 'Pictorchrom', with printed title on face, view up mountain along viaduct with train just beyond viaduct [image c.1898], 9cm x 14cm.

3) Cutting from unnamed journal [c.1913], photographic illustration of train with two carriages on viaduct.

4) Monochrome postcard by Valentine and Sons, No 24082 [published 1896], with printed title on face, view of viaduct and waterfall from river, 8cm x 13cm.

5) Monochrome postcard, same image as 4, by H J Francis, Carnarvon and Llanberis (bearing Valentine's number 24082), with printed title on face and manuscript caption on reverse, 8cm x 13cm.

6) Monochrome postcard by 'Frith's Series', No 2733B, with printed title on face, view from river level looking up at viaduct and train [image c.1898], 14cm x 9cm.

7) Monochrome postcard by Valentine W1567 [published 1938], with printed title on face, side view of viaduct and train, 8cm x 13cm.
