Description

Envelope typed 'Llanberis', first of two mounted on reverse of item 17, containing seven monochrome photographic images of Snowdon Mountain Tramroad and Snowdon Mountain Railway:

1) Cutting from unnamed journal, with typed caption on reverse, photographic illustration, Snowdon Mountain Tramroad train at Llanberis station [c.1900].

2) Postcard, Locomotive No 4 'Snowdon' and carriage [at Llanberis station, c.1910], 9cm x 14cm.

3) Photograph (poor focus) locomotive [possibly No 5 'Moel Siabod'] and carriage leaving station [c.1925], 5cm x 10cm.

4) Postcard, with printed title on face, train in Llanberis station [image c.1935], 9cm x 14cm.

5) Postcard by W H S [W H Smith] 'Kingsway Series' S 8595, with printed title on face, train in Llanberis station [image c. 1935], 7cm x 13cm.

6) Postcard by Valentine and Sons, No 1440 [published 1938], with printed title on face, Snowdon Mountain Railway locomotive No 6 'Padarn' and carriage at Llanberis station, 8cm x 13cm.
