Captured ship: San Jose otherwise La Hermosa Andrea (master Mariano de Sota).
Nationality: Spanish.
History: bound from Montevideo to Cadiz, laden with hides, tallow, wool, horns, copper and other articles; taken on 3 May 1805 by the privateer Mayflower (Philip Benest commanding) and 2 hours later HMS Eurylas (Henry Blackwood commanding, and who impressed 8 crewmen of the captured vessel), and brought into Portsmouth
