Captured ship: Pax (master Hooye Fredericks).
Nationality: Prussian.
History: bound from Emden to Surinam, laden with provisions, dry goods, liquors, bricks, lime and cement; taken on2 Appril 1798 by the privateers Thomas (William Perry commanding) and Fame (Daniel Morgan commanding), and brought into Martinique
