Captured ship: Paul Hamilton (master Joseph Betsworth Blunt).
Nationality: American.
History: bound from Algiers to Marseilles, laden with passengers and dispatches; taken on 17 January 1812 by HMS Alcmene (Edward Lloyd Graham commanding), and brought into Malta.
