Captured ship: Patapsco (master John Hall).
Nationality: American.
History: bound from Batavia to Baltimore, laden with sugar, arrack, rattan, Spasish $19,700 specie ; taken on 1 August 1805 by HMS Tremendous (John Osborne commanding) and HMS Grampus brig (Thomas Gordon Caulfield commanding), and brought into Port Colombo, Colombo
