Captured ship: Montezuma otherwise Gaditana (master Manuel Rodriguez).
Nationality: Spanish.
History: bound from Boston to Cadiz, laden with salt beef, salt pork, tobacco, pitch, tar, cloves, cod fish and pipe staves; taken on 14 October 1813 by HMS Tenedos (Hyde Parker commanding) and HMS La Hogue (Hon Thomas Bladen Capel commanding), and brought into Halifax
