Captured ship: Moideen Bux (master Mahomed Ali Meyah).
Nationality: Danish or Moorish.
History: bound from Salang to Porto Novo on the Coromandel coast and under British rule, laden with 14 elephants and some tin; taken on 1 April 1808 by HMS Victor (Thomas Groube commanding), and brought into Madras
