History: bound from Amsterdam to New York, laden with dry goods, gin, bricks, oil, lace, etc; taken on 10 or 11 May 1796 by HMS Hussar (Charles Wemyss commanding) and HMS Prevoyante (John Poo Beresford commanding), and brought into Halifax
