History: bound from Batavia to New York, laden with sugar, coffee, pepper and sappan wood; taken on 31 January 1798 by HMS Sceptre (Valentine Edward commanding) and HMS Trusty (Andrew Todd commanding), and brought into the Cape of Good Hope
