Captured ship: Hoop (master Cornelis Bakker).
Nationality: Prussian.
History: bound from Amsterdam to London, laden with wheat, cheese and other provisions; taken on 22 July 1801 by HMS Jalouse (Hon Frederick Paul Irby commanding) and HMS Mareschal de Cobourg brig (Mason Wright commanding), and brought into Great Yarmouth
