Captured ship: Hermione (master Francois Robert Leguilinel Descaliers).
Nationality: French.
History: bound from Malamba, Angola to Guadeloupe, laden with 211 slaves (117 when the ship sailed of whom 6 died, and a further 111 captured), dry goods, brandy, muskets and pewter; taken on 27 September 1815 by HMS Chanticleer (George Tupman commanding), and brought into St John's, Antigua
