Description

Loose printed prize appeal from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Nova Scotia.

Captured ship: Herman (master Alexander Horn).

Nationality: American.

History: formerly the British ship Jamaica (master Kneal), taken by an American privateer; now bound from Baltimore to Lisbon, laden with flour; taken on 20 February 1813 by HMS Plantagenet (Robert Lloyd commanding), and brought into Halifax
