Loose printed prize appeal from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Gibraltar.
Captured ship: Herman (master Charles Hayt).
Nationality: American.
History: bound from Cadiz to Boston, laden with wine and salt; taken first when bound from Liverpool to Palemo, Italy by a Spanish privateer and brought into Cadiz; retaken on 9 July 1805 by HMS Hydra (George Munday commanding) and HMSs Dreadnought, Mars, Colossus and Endymyon under Vice Admiral Collingwood, and brought into Gibraltar
