Captured ship: Hercules (master Samuel Simmons or Tilney Rising).
Nationality: Swedish (originally British).
History: bound from St Bartholomew to Tortola, laden with loose cannister, grape shot and muskets; taken on 7 August 1806 by HMS Jason (Thomas John Cochrane commanding) in sight of other ships, and brought into Tortola
