Description

North America: Canada: Coronation Gulf, Nunavut to Great Slave Lake, Fort Providence, Manitoba. Entitled 'A CHART of the DISCOVERIES of the NORTHERN LAND EXPEDITION under the command of CAPTAIN FRNKLIN R. N. in the year 1820 AMPERSAND 21'. Endorsed 'Laid down under his inspection by the OFFICERS ASSISTING IN THE EXPEDITION' Continuation of the expedition from Fort Providence, Great Slave Lake; including North-West Territories, Alberta, Saskatchewan. Chart shows overland route, topography, settlements, fortifications, land marks, remarks, and explanatory key. Printed manuscript. Latitude and longitude indicated; no scale shown. Engraved by J Walker; published by John Murray, Albemarle Street, London, March 1823. Orderable at item level
