Name: Ellis Jones.

Place of accident: Wernddu, near Caerphilly, Glamorgan.
Injury: Middle finger of right hand bruised.
Details of accident: Jones was tightening crossing bolts when a spanner he was using slipped off a bolt and he caught his right hand on the ballast injuring the middle finger. He completed his day's work and was also on duty on the 19th instant but has been absent since.
