Occupation: Engine Driver.
Place of accident: Cardiff, Machine Road, Glamorgan.
Injury: Third finger of left hand injured.
Details of accident: Barrington on 28th June cut top of 3rd finger of left hand against side of ashpan of engine but continued work. On July 4 the reversing handle of his engine came into contact with the injured finger driving the nail into the flesh. He continued until 13th July when blood poisoning surfaced.
