Place of accident: Dowlais, Engine Shed, Glamorgan.
Injury: Fourth finger of left hand bruised.
Details of accident: While Virgin was engaged in laying fire bans one of the fire bans fell on his left hand bruising same. He continued on duty until the 25th June but did not again resume until the 29th June.
