Place of accident: Cardiff Docks, Running Shed, Glamorgan.
Injury: Thumb of right hand squeezed.
Details of accident: Calford when putting coal into the firebox of an Engine ready for lighting up when a piece of coal fell on his right hand squeezing it against another lump of coal. He remained on duty until the 18th but has been absent since.
