Place of accident: Caerphilly Tunnel, Glamorgan.
Injury: One foot cut off and the other injured.
Details of accident: Jones had been working on the Caerphilly Tunnel loading Ballast Train and was standing while the Ballast was passing. He appears to have moved foul of the train and was knocked down and run over. Warning was given of the approach of the train. Jones was conveyed to hospital at Cardiff at once.
