Place of accident: Barry Commercial Graving Dock, Glamorgan.
Injury: Finger slightly crushed.
Details of accident: During the repair to No 4, 5 ton steam crane this man was assisting to fit a new jib chain when one of the fingers of his left hand was caught between the cog and cab of crane. The cog wheel was being turned by hand at the time.
