Injury: Finger cut and bruised.
Details of accident: Engaged in assisting a carpenter to fix a mooring post on the ship caisson. The carpenter was wringing the post up and Britton was placing a wedge underneath when the bar slipped and caused the post to fall on Brittons r/hand.
