Place of accident: Barry Locomotive Sheds, Glamorgan.
Injury: Finger nail removed.
Details of accident: Power was in the act of opening the damper of the sand furnace at this shed and while doing so the weight of the furnace door pulled a lever up and one of the fingers of his left hand was caught between a hook and staple.
