Description

Folios 112-114. Examination of John Meres, printer, by Holderness. Regarding the printing and distribution of the London Evening Post (edition 4,185), and a seditious letter from Cambridge published in the Post dated July 29 1754. Saying that although he had seen and read the letter at Islington, he had not seen it in manuscript. Copy.
