Folios 104-109. Petiton of Ann Brooks, 19 years old and under sentence of death in gaol in Bristol for 'street robbery' involving three shillings and two pence, signed by several people including a Foreman of the Grand Jury; together with a copy of statements supporting the character of the accused from several local residents. Also the report of the Recorder of Bristol, Sir Michael Foster, recommending clemency for ' the inexperienced country girl' on condition of being transported for fourteen years.
