Folios 101-103. Petition of Sarah Marchant, prisoner in Newgate under sentence of transportation for stealing two Holland sheets valued at 40s and other goods from a Mr John Pearce. Includes a report on the case by the Recorder of London, pointing out that her husband and his family left her destitute, a fact which might allow some reconsideration of her case. Complete with depositions from various persons.
