Report of the Lord Chief Justice on the case of Richard Tickner, convicted of highway robbery, but subject to an appeal for clemency from the Speaker of the House of Commons; concluding that he sees no reason to change his view and recommend the King's mercy, but that should His Majesty be so inclined, he should instead suffer transportation for life.
