Folios 29-31. Report of Mr Justice Bathurst from Bridgewater [Somerset] on the case of Thomas Fancy, indicted for horse stealing, explaining that he did not believe that Fancy merited the King's mercy to reduce his sentence to transportation. Also a petition on behalf of Fancy (late of the Parish of Ringwood, husbandman, now under the sentence of death in the gaol of the County of Southampton for felony) to Sir Thomas Robinson, one of His Majesty's Principal Secretary's of State; signed by residents of Christchurch, Hampshire.
