Lease by William Ashton of the Cowhouse, Great Stanney, Cheshire, yeoman, to John Halwood of Childer Thornton, Cheshire, yeoman, of a tenement (cowhouse) in Great Stanney, Cheshire, for 120 years, for £300 paid cash down. Tenement was originally leased to William Ashton by Thomas Bunbury esq, by indenture dated 24 Dec 1660. Signature of William Ashton. Witnesses:- Robert Ashton; Francis Wright; Thomas Birkheued.
Endorsed:- showed on 15 Oct 1681 on behalf of John Ashbrooke, defendant, at the suit of William Holley and Mary, his wife, before Robert Foulkes.
