Assignment of lease by Randle Povey of Lowcross in the parish of Tilston, Cheshire, yeoman, to Thomas Calcot of Chorley, Cheshire, gent, of a tenement called Lowcrosse House or Lowcrosse Hall with lands in Lowcross and Tilston, Cheshire. Original lease was made on 18 May 1618 by Richard Alport late of Overton, Cheshire, gentleman, deceased, to William Povey late of Tilston, deceased, and Randle Povey, for 21 years at the yearly rent of 2s and performing of other duties, starting after the death of William Povey, Randle Povey and Jane Talbot, daughter of William Povey and wife of Gerrard Talbot. Seal and signature of Randle (or Randall) Povey.
