Assignment of a bond by William Poole of Chester, barber-surgeon, to Thomas Barlowe of Little Saughall, Cheshire, yeoman, for a tenement in Northgate Street, Chester, in consideration of £30 paid cash down. Edward Ball of the city of Chester, gentleman, son and heir of William Ball, late of the city of Chester, gentleman, had previously sold William Poole the messuage or tenement in Northgate Street, Chester, by a deed dated 6 October 1602, and Edward Ball and Jane, his mother, are bound for £40 to William Poole. Signature of William Poole, one tag, missing seal. Witnesses:- Robert Barlowe of Great Saughall; Richard Howell; William Hopley; Hugh Dod, notary.
