Lease, indented, by Francis Hawarden of Boughton, Cheshire, gent, and Susan Hawarden, his wife, to Thomas Whitbie [Whitby] of Chester, alderman, of two plots of land in Boughton called the Great Over meadow and the Little Over meadow, held by Susan Hawarden in jointure and dower, for the term of Susan Hawarden's natural life (and a bond for £38). With assignment of John Hardware and Thomas Ball of Boughton, gentleman, as the Hawardens' attorneys. Seal of Francis and Susan Hawarden. Witnesses:- George Warburton; John Hardware; Thomas Ball; Francis Hawarden; Ralph Egerton.
Endorsed: memorandum of delivery by Hardware and Ball on 16 December 1622.
