Lease, indented, by Edward Foxe of Windle, Lancashire, gent, to John Ratcliffe of Chester, alderman, of three plots of land in Boughton, Cheshire, for 500 years, in consideration of £60 paid cash down, and for an annual rent due to the Dean and Chapter of Chester of £4 13s 7d. Signature and seal of Edward Fox. Witnesses:- Henry Ogle; Thomas Whitbie [Whitby]; Edmund Spencer.
Endorsed:- Sealed and delivered to the hands of Henry Ogle for the use of John Ratcliffe.
