Bargain and sale, indented, by John Reynolds alias Barker, gent, son and heir of John Reynolds alias Barker, late of London, gent, deceased, to Thomas Whitbie [Whitby] of Boughton, Cheshire, gent, of a croft of land called Daniells Crofte in Boughton, for £18, with power of attorney to John Hardware and Thomas Ball of Boughton, gents. The land is part of the tenement conveyed from John Payne to John Reynolds alias Barker by indentures dated 20 July 1595. Seal and signature of John Barker. Witnesses:- Anthony Sawrey; John Hardware; William Davenport; Thomas Ball; John Alcooke; Thomas Johnson; William Thomason senior
