Description

Covenant by William Aldersley the younger of Chester, alderman, and Peter Drinkwater of Chester, ironmonger, to perform their duties as trustees of land and messuages in Boughton, Huntington and Chester, Cheshire. Signatures and seals of Peter Aldersley and Peter Drinkwater. Witnesses:- Edward Kitchin; Nicholas Ince; Randall Holme; Robert Price; Ralph Mosse; Robert Bennett; Gruffudd Price

Endorsed:- Assignment of a lease made on 26 June 1617 [sic] by John Glover to Thomas Shorte, son and heir of Edward Shorte of Ashley, Staffordshire, yeoman, by Thomas to William Aldersley and Peter Drinkwater, as trustees for Thomas Whitbie [Whitby].
