Description

Folios 427-428: Shuldham Peard, HMS Rosario.

Having been informed that £20 had been stopped from his wages for ordering Captain James Wallis of HMS Pincher to transport the Duke and Duchess de Fleury from Boulogne to Dover he points out that he was authorised to do this by the Duke of Wellington. He explains he has been ordered to attend the orders of the Duke of Wellington by Captain Smith of HMS Nymphen.
